I don't even know where to begin. First of all, no snow, which is good for me. It has been around sixty and sunny the last few days. I love it.

Last night I saw The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. It was great! Marianne and I laughed our heads off. It was nice to just chill for a while.

We had such a great time last weekend. Some of us went to visit a friend of ours who is stationed at the army base in Bamberg, Germany. It was cool because it's like an American city in the middle of Germany. We had some culture shock. We must have looked like idiots in the grocery store. We were oohing and aahing over stuff like peanut butter and chocolate frosting. The prices were in dollars and everyone in that store was American. After filling up a huge basket, we were amazed that it only cost $100 for the 4 of us (Marianne, Trent, Emily and me.) Then we had dinner with five of the guys from the base, all of whom had just returned from Iraq. I was amazed and touched that these guys each gave up a year of their lives to fight for our country on foreign soil.

Well, I'm hungry and anxious to start my weekend. So, until next time...
Jess
