It's really cold!!! Even the Czech are complaining! For those of you who are wondering, the ples was fun. The midnight surprise was really good. The senior's formed a band and played two songs; "The Wall" by Pink Floyd and a Czech song that every did the Twist to. It was weird because it was the type of song one envisions a mosh pit and everyone was twisting the night away. Marianne and I had a long laugh about that. Paul, one of the seniors who can hardly speak English, asked me to dance the Student-Teacher dance. It was really sweat and ...well, let's just say he had no idea how to waltz. All in all, it was a nice time.
School may be closed next week for a "flu holiday." Who knew you could get a holiday for the flu? I think 40% of the school has to be sick to close down. We'll see.
I went to see The Tempest this week at the local theatre. It was ok. Not the best I have seen. It is hard to watch Shakespeare performed in a forgien language. I was exhausted when it was over. Also, the Czechs love curtain calls. The are uneccessarily long and tedious. My theatre friends should know what I mean! Well, I'm hungry and want to go home. Talk to you soon.

If that Czech light board operator knew what they were doing, they would have blacked out the stage and brought up the house lights. Nothing like a blackout to get those pesky actors (walking props) off the stage.
