Well, the weather is turning cold. They high today is 48. All of the restaurants on the square have put away all of their outdoor seating, a sure sign that fall is here and winter is approaching. So please think of me when you are enjoying your nice warm fall weather. A Texas girl like me isn't used to all of this cold weather. I still haven't bought a winter coat, yet. I have been waiting until I get paid. I did get a nice trench coat with a zip-out lining that one of the previous teachers left behind. It has been very handy and I am thankful for it!

My park gets more colorful every day but I am not able to sit and enjoy it anymore because of the cold. One of my students is going to help me figure out which bus or buses I should take to get to school and back. I am afraid I won't be able to walk so much when it begins to snow. I'll be a popcicle!!

I got several nice long emails yesterday from friends and family. It is nice to catch up with people. Must go and teach....more later.
